Take part payments

1. Open a sent invoice.
2. Under Online payment, pick a Part payment option.
3. For Fixed deposit, enter the Deposit.
4. For Customer chooses, enter a Minimum part if you want one.
5. Press Save.

The options

• Pay in full: the customer pays the whole balance.
• Fixed deposit: the customer pays the deposit now, the rest later.
• Customer chooses: the customer pays any amount up to the balance, and not less than your minimum.

Each payment lowers the balance. The invoice reads Part-paid until payments cover the total. You can change the option after the invoice is sent.

Tip The Online payment box shows only when online payments are on. For transfers in parts, use Record payment each time money arrives.
